Membership Categories of ICOMOS-ICORP
Expert members must be ICOMOS members and nominated by national committees and/or other members of ICOMOS who have demonstrated interest and expertise in the field of disaster preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery and armed conflict as it relates to cultural heritage places.
Voting Expert members of ICORP are Expert Members who must be nominated by their national committee. Members are expected to feed back/capacity build within their national committees and to represent ICORP where possible.
Institutional members – Institutional Members will be sought and defined on a case by case basis by the bureau and through recommendations of expert members.
Associate Members of ICORP (non-voting) shall consist of either members of ICOMOS who wish to build up their interest and expertise in the field of disaster preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery and armed conflict as it relates to cultural heritage places or non-members of ICOMOS with significant experience and expertise in disaster and risk-related activities.
Corresponding members would be able to receive and participate in correspondence among various ICORP members and would also have access to public documents/newsletters of ICORP.
